Application:
Fluxes for melting aluminum cans solve the problem of excessive burning loss and waste gas pollution caused by the chemical reaction of traditional flux in alloy liquid. FODY is dedicated to research and development, production and marketing of granular fluxes for the aluminum alloy casting process. Refining fluxes utilize unique technology to enhance the traditional degassing and deslagging effect. And this technology is applied to the casting process of multi-series aluminum alloy products. Such as micron-sized aluminum foil, PS baseboard for printing, canning material, elastic packaging material, railway transportation, aerospace products, cable & wire, and other casting aluminum purifying, especially for pure aluminum and high magnesium alloys purifying.
Product Description:
Refining flux is a white powdery fine particles. The main components are chloride salt and fluoride salt, and there are other compounds. The refining agent is mainly used to remove the hydrogen and floating oxidized slag inside the aluminum liquid, so that the aluminum liquid is purer. Some components in the refining agent are easily decomposed at high temperatures. The generated gas is easy to react with hydrogen, and has strong adsorption force with slag, and quickly escapes from the molten metal. Other components also have the role of slag cleaning agents.
Sprinkle the refining agent on the liquid surface, it will quickly enter into the liquid aluminum, stir fully and remove the slag. It is better to spray the refining agent into the molten aluminum with inert gas.
Refining flux is with appropriate heat treatment and screening, it turns to uniform size, which is conducive for transferring in refining jar with(N2 or Ar) gas as carrier to the bottom layer of molten aluminum, which fully solves the traditional problem of tube plugging, failure to uniformly dispersing to ensure quality casting.
